March 2013 Women’s Reflection
Hello from the States! I arrived last week to attend a board meeting retreat at Shalem Institute for Spiritual Direction. It was a peaceful and joyful time filled with gratitude and awareness. We met Friday afternoon to catch up and greet one another and by 9:00 pm Friday night we entered our silence until Saturday at 7:00pm during our contemplative Eucharist. Sunday morning was the business part of the time together.
- How do you measure your time?
- How do you make time for rest and quiet?
- When was the last time you lived in gratitude and shared those thoughts with others?
- When did you last write a letter of gratitude to someone?
- How do you experience the Eucharist?
- What is the most important aspect of the Eucharist for you?
- How do you imagine a contemplative Eucharist?
- Where is God in your life right now?
- Is there a way to enter the Eucharist during Lent that is different from other times of year?
- Take time to give thanks, feel the joy of your life, prepare for the Eucharist, and be who you truly are.
In gratitude and joy,
Clair
