March 2013 Women’s Reflection

March 12, 2013 Amanda the Admin Women's Reflections

Hello from the States!  I arrived last week to attend a board meeting retreat at Shalem Institute for Spiritual Direction.  It was a peaceful and joyful time filled with gratitude and awareness.  We met Friday afternoon to catch up and greet one another and by 9:00 pm Friday night we entered our silence until Saturday at 7:00pm during our contemplative Eucharist.  Sunday morning was the business part of the time together.

  1. How do you measure your time?
  2. How do you make time for rest and quiet?
  3. When was the last time you lived in gratitude and shared those thoughts with others?
  4. When did you last write a letter of gratitude to someone?
  5. How do you experience the Eucharist?
  6. What is the most important aspect of the Eucharist for you?
  7. How do you imagine a contemplative Eucharist?
  8. Where is God in your life right now?
  9. Is there a way to enter the Eucharist during Lent that is different from other times of year?
  10. Take time to give thanks, feel the joy of your life, prepare for the Eucharist, and be who you truly are.

In gratitude and joy,

Clair
